Originally from central Illinois, Aaron moved to Virginia in 1990 to attend Eastern Mennonite University. Aaron’s experience includes working at the non-profit art gallery, Washington Project for the Arts, and People for the American Way’s arts advocacy project in our nation's capital. In 1998, Aaron moved to Charlottesville, VA. and began teaching Art in the public schools. He is an associate member of Charlottesville's  McGuffey Art Center and currently serves the Charlottesville City School division as Coordinator of Fine & Performing Arts which includes administering the Reflections Regional Summer Governor’s School program. Aaron is an avid gardener (mostly natives) and lives in Belmont with his husband of 29 years.
